85 GT 5.0 Won't Start

I changed my oil& filter& when done was gonna crank it& let it run cuz it had been sitn for coupla weeks(was a daily driving dream) & my we noticed there was gas leaking & puddling up on top of my intake under the carb. so we stopped cuz didn't wanna have a fire. Well it was dark so we decided 2 wait til the next day n sunlite & events unfolded that left me leaving the stang parked for next coupla months& I went to start it up& make sure everything was n working order cuz I had been having withdrawals from driving my stang& it wil turn over but wil not start. I hear a new sound cumn from my gas tank that sounds like it bubbling or something& I've never had it make that sound before. Any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated I miss my pony rides... Thanks n advance...

A little more info would help. Cfi (auto) or carb (stick)? I believe there is a fuel pump reset at the tail light panel on the cfi.
