I'm looking for anyone that has a Mustang with the original swaybar mounting bolts installed on their car. What are the numbers stamped into the head of these bolts?

G'01. Huh, must be some sort of obsolete spec.
'89 GT convertible - not a four-eye
'82 Zephyr Z7 - future track car
It is the specification prior to the G16 classified one.

Is that not a metric size bolt (10.9mm) ? It is just a shade under 7/16"
84 Cougar, 90 HO with 700DP, Edelbrock RPM intake, 1.7 RRs, shorty's and SS exh, T-5, KC clutch, Hurst pro billet, line loc, 8.8, 4.10s, suspension mods....blah, blah, blah.
71 Comet, 289, Liberty TL, 9", 6.00s, 11.9x @ 112.... blah, blah, blah.
10.9 is the metric bolt grade, like a standard US grade 8, but metric.

For some reason I cannot post pics? But, for what it's worth I just checked my 79 cobra and the big bolts are a 15mm head with 9.8 on the head and the little bolts are a 13mm head with 10.9 on the head. If I get the pic thing figured out I'll post them
Your rear swaybar uses two different sized bolts?

Yes, if you PM me I'll text you pics. I still cannot add pics
If it’s a street car you may prefer it without the rear sway bar. They cause horrible rear suspension bind and the cars are far more predictable without the rear bar. Especially if you don’t have a panhard.
Or you may also like an adjustable MM bar that mounts in a way that avoids the binding.
I ditched my rear swaybar on my 86GT that’s lowered. Also on my son’s stock height 86 convertible. Lots safer on damp or wet roads.
Here are a couple of the photos that Shane was unable to post. I had completely forgotten that in the early Mustangs, Ford used a simpler swaybar design where is was all bent in one plane and then drop brackets were used to connect the swaybar to the RLCAs. It appears that Ford used a bolt with a lower load rating where it is larger diameter and the higher load rating bolts are the smaller diameter ones.
Shane, can you put a set of calipers on one of the bars and measure its diameter?

I forgot my caliper, but a tape measure suggests 9/16
