    Default Ttop Question

Alright this is disappointing news to me but my car was not originally a ttop car.

My question is how do I figure out if it is a conversion or a roof swap hack job? The rest of the car has been a hack job so why not something else some that's not OE.

    Thanks

Codes on the buck tag indicate solid roof. No sunroof. No T-roof.

The car is supposed to be a solid roof from the buck tag but it has ttops.

I want to know if the top is aftermarket or would be cut from another car.

Aftermarket or from another car would be the same parts. There was only one company that made parts for aftermarket installation, and it's the same company that did the installation for factory orders --- Cars & Concepts. And their nationwide network of authorized installers/dealers used kits with their parts.

You can remove the trim panels around the frame and see how it was attached, anc compare it to a "factory" installation.

    Thanks FoxChassis,

I was not aware that they were only made by one company for aftermarket and Ford.
