Default A few pictures of my car in new book

I was approached in January 2018 by John Klein who is co-admin. of MustangAttitude.com he and his brother Jeff Kline were asked to write a book on Special and Limited edition Mustangs. John asked for permission to use some pictures of my 1983 Mustang GT convertible. They sent me a license from their publisher to sign allowing the use of the pictures. Here is their new book and the pics. they used. They are on page 11 under 1983 Mustangs. The books publisher is CarTech, inc. I bought my copy off Amazon.Name: 71AdpwcaOiL.jpg

    Nice!

But, wait! They put your car in their book and don't give you a courtesy copy?

You have a very nice 83 GT Vert! Yes, what is with that....no complimentary copy of the book. That doesn't seem right.

Yes your right, I should have been given a free copy There are hundreds of pics in book so they may not have wanted to give away that many free books lol. Thanks for your kind words.

That's cool. I would love to have a car in a book. There is a youtube video advertising the book in case you weren't aware and your car is briefly shown. It's quick but it's there! I am a bit perplexed about their definition of some of the "special editions" but that's neither here nor there. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Yes they did say, below the pic that the wheels on my car were not available until 1987 lol. There are a lot of cars in the book that are not special editions. It is in Chapter 1 which is titled Regular Production - Special Mustangs. Mine would be considered regular production. Under my car it says one of 1,001 1983 Mustang GT convertibles, that was first mistake I noticed.

There is some reference to the ASC's but not a lot, and mostly on late 80 models.
