    Default Wire identification help

Had my interior out for roof skin replacement and to restore. Found these 2 wires just floating around behind plastic on driver side. Anyone have a clue what they go to?

    Thanks

    totally agree! Speaker wire!!

Abandon them. The wire isn't very good and doesn't do well with a reasonable amount of current coming from an amplifier for any period of time.

They tend to corrode and weren't the best in the first place. In the 90's I looped mine in my 86GT and found there was around 5 ohms of resistance in the wire run too.

Much better sound qualify after I ran all new wires for the speakers.

Are you sure their not window Defrost wires? They look too thick for speaker wires.

Speaker wires a pink with a light green stripe, and pink with light blue. Defrost wire is 10 or 12 gauge, and yellow.

Well that makes total sense now that you guys mention it. Previous owner ran new wires on top of carpet fro player to speakers. I am restoring interior and will run new wires so ill just tuck these out of the way. Thanks
