1983 Mustang GT convertible $4,000 o.b.o.

Hey everyone,

I have an 83' GT vert for sale or trade for something I need, $4K or best offer.

Location: Georgetown, KY. (just north of Lexington, KY right in the middle of the state)

Its a mostly original car...
of course 5.0, 5speed ( I think high optioned) power everything even working cruise control and A/C. top works etc.

it originally was dark red 24 someone did bad paint job to Bright Red 27.
Pictures posted, I know not many but I'm not trying to hide anything either... its an old car, with no real restoration work, Pictures won't show everything anyway... so I'd rather you come take a look in person.
It is in need of repainting for sure, a new top wouldn't hurt. other than that cosmetically it's little imperfections like, seals, jams, etc.
The car Runs and drives out good, I would drive it cross country, (it is a 35 year old car though, I'm not making any promises)
Most recent long distance stretch was a 250mile round trip. otherwise I mostly just drive 15miles to and from work.

I would be interested in trade to an 83 GT hatchback... doesn’t have to be original, clones ok, prefer running driving non t-top but I’m open to anything close.
I Would consider an 84, but nothing 82 or older. Looking for one to make into an track car, so roll bars race setup, is a plus, depending on condition I’m willing to add cash. Thanks again for looking!
