These three (3) Vintage Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) retired Police Cars sold today on Govdeals.

The 1973 was running and driving and used for THP promotional appearances.

The 1979 was NOT RUNNING. Parked for 10+ years in the woods at the THP Academy.

The 1990 was NOT RUNNING. Parked for 10+ years in the woods at the THP Academy.

The Beetle -

I see civilian versions of that Chrysler in very good condition come up for sale quite a bit and based on what I have seen they have almost no market. I am surprised that one went that high.

I like the Caprice, but I would have a hard time giving that kind of money for a car that has been sitting in the woods getting moldy for twenty years.
