Default I Think This Is Pretty Neat!!!

I saw this posted on the CHP Mustang restoration website and thought it was neat enough to share:

At the recent Annual CHP Employee Appreciation Day Eric Estrada "Ponch" from CHIP's was once again in attendance.

Attached is a picture of a little boy and Ponch 40 years ago. The boy's Dad is a CHP officer who brought his son to the set of CHiPs in LA on the DISNEY RANCH Set. Eric Estrada “PONCH” and Larry Wilcox "JOHN" both held the little boy while he cried on Eric’s shoulder.

Now that little boy is a second generation CHP Officer and got to re-enact that same photo with PONCH!

CHP BLUE & GOLD runs deep!

Thanks again Eric Estrada for helping us to celebrate our Annual Employee Appreciation Day.

Thankfully the Officer didn’t cry all over "Ponch" this time!

Larry Wilcox or "JOHN" from CHiPS.

Recovering from his "Bernie Madoff" Ponzi scheme!

    Legal troubles:

In November 2010, Wilcox pleaded guilty to criminal charges of conspiracy to commit securities fraud. The U.S. Justice Department alleged that Wilcox had paid a commission which was deemed illegal as a kickback as a result of an FBI sting operation. Wilcox proved that all of his shares were still in his control and none were sold but due to the fact that he paid an illegal commission on a pension fund and was introduced by a party who with 40 others was involved in a pump and dump, Wilcox was now guilty as a conspirator. In pleading guilty, Wilcox stated before the court, "This was an aberration as I betrayed my core values with what I did. I am deeply sorry." He was given a $100 fine, three years probation, and 500 hours of community service. He performed over 1000 hours of community service.
