Figures that there'd be a Grateful Dead connection with this.

    One of a kind...Further III ? - $19500 (Bend)

    https://losangeles.craigslist.org/la...961942863.html

1937 International Bus with a genuine 23 window Volkswagen bus as a bedroom and a 54 Chevrolet as the kitchen stand up area. Ken Kesey who did the the original trip to Woodstock in the original Further Bus and was friends of the Grateful Dead. His son Zane built Further 2 with a 1937 International Bus and did a tour of the US several years go visiting Merry Pranksters throughout the U.S. in a 1937 International Bus. Further II was supposed to go to Woodstock this year. This bus is currently registered with antique 1937 plates here in Oregon as a antique motor home, it does have a bathroom and kitchen it does need work and the engine is not running, it has low compression . Our plans were to install a Cummings straight 6 diesel engine out of a mid 90s Dodge pick-up but sadly my mechanic friend Wade passed away and now the bus is up for sale. It will be going on E-Bay with a starting bid of $19,500. Before it goes on eBay I will take $19,500 or best offer

Too bad it isn't a camper top van. That would have really made it. 3 stories of ridiculousness.

    Sweet ride!
    ;-)

Imho, the best picture is the one with a close up of the engine bay:

Gotta love have a super small radiator in a desert climate! :-)

Notice the "no expense spared" plastic Coke bottle that is used as the overflow.
    Sweet!

And, of course, as everyone knows, the Pokemon stickers over the metal air intake pipe are not only stylish, but they also help to reduce the engine bay heat from heating up that intake pipe.

Although, with the 110% Ricer cone air filter just about kissing the tiny tiny radiator, the Pokemon stickers may not help a lot.

Plus, we all know that only wimps add a brace or support for an air intake tube and air filter.
The rubber coupling at the throttle body is more than good enough!

Imho, since it's clearly a race car, and not meant for the street at all, if it wasn't for the plastic coke bottle as an overflow, I might be able to give the rest of the stuff "a pass", since I don't know the exact bracket he races in, the rules for where he races, his competition, or how well he and the car do in the races. That's also assuming that the car is trailered to/from the races.

There's comedy in every pic of that monstrosity.

The wing. The rear quarter panel that appears to have been attached with sheet metal screws. That ridiculous roll bar. the super long throw shifter.

    "Featuring a pedestrian foot slicer!"

It reminds me a bit of how I've been joining a few Focus ST groups in anticipation of my new DD. I really want to make fun of some of the mods they're so proudly sharing with the group. "That spoiler is craptastic!", "that exhaust sounds like @$$!" and so on. But... I keep it to myself. For now.

Interesting. Useless bed though, can barely fit a cooler imo. But there is a kit to do that, costs about $3500 plus paint job.

    Default '90 Cougar XR7 SC RARE 5-SPEED SUPERCHARGED - $2,200 (Netarts OR)

    https://portland.craigslist.org/nco/...217731068.html

    1990 mercury cougar
    condition: excellent
    cylinders: 6 cylinders
    drive: rwd
    fuel: gas
    odometer: 113000
    paint color: red
    size: mid-size
    title status: clean
    transmission: manual
    type: coupe

They only made 800 of these Cougars in 1990 and a lot less were 5 speed cars. It has 113k miles on it and the head gaskets were just done. It does run and drive but it has a vacuum leak somewhere behind the supercharger and I just don't have the time to mess with it. The Eaton supercharger will need the bearings replaced sometime soon also. You can drive it home and im open to trades

Saw this on the local craigslist. Based on the date, this came out when I was in high school. Yet I don't recall ever seeing it in any of the many magazines I picked up back in those days.
