How tight on the swaybar endlinks rod.? Torque spec?
How tight on the swaybar endlinks rod.? Torque spec?
I was taught when the bushing diameter is the same as the washer.
67 Mustang Coupe
96 Tangerine GT
86 Saleen #179
If polyurethane,from MM.
"Tighten the endlink nuts. Do not overtighten them. They only need to be snug. You should be able to rotate the endlink bushings with your fingers, but still feel some friction from the contact between the washers and the endlink bushings. If you cannot rotate the bushing, the nut is too tight. Adjusting the tightness of the endlinks with the car on the ground will ensure that there is no pre-load on your swaybar"
Good luck

Thanks. I'm sure I overdid it. I'll recheck once it's back on the ground.
