    Default Ragtop power window motor

    I'm not sure if this is the right section for this question but I'm looking for some info on replacing my power window motor in my 84 GT vert. I noticed a couple of the guys are missing there felt also anyone got a fix for that or tips tricks filming in point me in the right direction thanks guys

    Is your old motor present? It could be a simple repair.

    Yeah, I have had to replace the little plastic bearings in both my rears. Easy job to do actually.

    K&N filter in a stock dual snorkel, GT40 heads, Edelbrock 3721 intake, MSD 8456 Dist., MSD 8227 coil
    Comp cams XE254H, hypereutectic pistons
    Hooker Super Comp Shorty Equal Length Headers, catted BBK H-pipe, full custom duals
    Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates and strut tower brace, 3.73 rear, dura grip (both Yukon)
    Ford Performance Springs, Firehawk A/S 225/55r16 on LMR TRX r390 wheels (street)
    Federal 595 rs-rr 245/40r17 and 255/40r17 on OE cobra r wheels (race)
    AOD rebuilt with a 6 clutch direct drum, Koline steels stacked with 8 clutches, Kevlar band, superior shift kit, new torque converter. --Everything else stock and fully functional.

    yes i have the old motor I removed it from the door last night. But I need new guides and one of the little felt pieces is missing the felt from it. All other windows work flawlessly rear quarter Windows have New Motors. Just want to know about the guides and track or anything to replace there or even where to get it

    Yeah, I could use some new felt on my rears too. If you figure it out, post it. I have never seen replacement parts for those. I got the fronts replaced though. I think lmr or cjpony had them.

    my fronts were easy but I had to use some machine screws to put the felts in place, I just lubed the crap out of the existing rails with silicon spray.

    When I worked on my rear quarter windows i needed the felt as well. I used some of the felt you can get at hobby stores that has the "sticky" on the back. Worked like a charm.
