Default 1990 Mustang 5 speed swap into 1986 Capri

I am looking to swap out my automatic to a 5 speed and there is a donor 1990 available with a factory 5 speed. Are there any fitment issues? Can I use the pedal assembly from the Mustang in my Capri? Both cars are stock 5.0s.

Yes, the items will fit and the transmission also. But I am not sure about the speedo cable. You are getting all the parts- block plate, bell, trans...? Might also need the cross member.

Only thing that won't be exact is the transmission harness. Different type of connectors from 87 up. If you stick with your factory automatic harness, it will require a jumper to bypass the neutral safety switch.
