    Default LMR shipping to Canada

Has anyone bought from LMR and shipped to Canada?

The website says all costs included but I’ve been burned by that before and
They won’t ship to my po box in Niagara Falls NY.

Just looking for any first hand experiences

I live in Windsor and had no luck shipping to Canada, even if companies will ship the extra cost and wait time never seems worth it to me. I was able to ship to a PO box in Detroit though, had to call LMR though to get them to put the order through.

    That’s what I expected,
The website said they will only ship to the credit card address, but hopefully if I call they will ship to my PO box.

The website shows about $50 shipping for a $300 order but then HST on the converted amount. And I don’t trust they UPS won’t want cash on delivery.

it’s free shipping in the US and if I bring it back when I’ve been traveling I’ll save the HST too.

Had parts shipped to me from CJPP a few years back when they had free shipping to Canada. No charges on delivery. Took a little longer of course.

    Thanks,
I had a bad experience with cj about 10 years ago, maybe they’ve cleaned up their act since then.

I’ll check out what they’ve got.

You can also try The Mustang Shop in Calgary. They can get almost all of the same stuff as the ones mentioned in the US and ship to anywhere. They have shipping agreements in place to minimize consumer impacts and stay competitive.

May be worth a shot: https://www.themustangshop.ca/

I ordered a $50 US part for my truck from LMC ( not LMR) and by the time it came to me, it amounted to $128 CAN. And to top it off, the part was not as ordered and I had to modify it to fit.....cheaper than returning it.

    I don’t doubt it.
I ordered a pair of ball joints from Carpenter for my wagon and it cost $150 to get them shipped here. I didn’t mind the first $50 that they quoted for shipping USPS it was the extra $100 that was due on delivery.

You have to really work hard to get parts for a reasonable price in Canada

What I found was, that if I needed a specific part, I would contact the company and ask for their Canadian distributor. Works great so far.
