    Default Introducing myself, Str8sixfan

Hello! I just bought an early fox body and have plenty to learn. This is my first real project car. I'd love to tell you more about it, but for now I'm going to leave that under wraps in the event anyone on here knows me from my YouTube channel.

I haven't unveiled my project yet on my YouTube channel, and hope to have a video up about it no later than a week from today. To date I've only teased it.

For now I'm trying to wrap up my current project, a rat rod radio flyer go kart. If you're curious, check out my channel - https://www.youtube.com/str8sixfan

If you're wondering the significance of my screen name, you can watch a video on my page; or, I can boil it down here:

Str8sixfan was one of my first email accounts which was based off my HS ride from circa 2001 - 1995 Ford F-150 I-6, 5speed single cab longbed. It was my dad's company paid truck that he bought off his company after they upgraded him to a new one at 143,000 miles. Not exactly what HS kids dream of owning, but I was fortunate enough that my parents bought me that. But Str8sixfan represented that I was going to "build what you got" to scratch my car guy itch. And ever since I've taken a liking to some not-so-mainstream approaches to car building. And since I'm a less is more type, every time I'd join a different forum, I just kept that screen name for about anything.

So here I am at four eyed pride, and I believe it fits as a not-so-mainstream collection of cars. I hope I can fit in. Thanks y'all!

You just need an I6 banger fox and you’ll have it made.

Toss a 300 into a Fox with turbos, right...

haha...yea I knew it would only be a matter of time before that was suggested. 300's weight and rpm limit not the best match for a foxbody IMO. BTW looks like we're neighbors. I'm in KC area.

I no longer own an I-6. However way back in the day I may have actually had a fordsix.com account. If I did my handle was either GT300 or Str8sixfan over there. My name initials are GT...had always thought about making a GT350 inspired door stripe for my old F-150 that said GT300
