    E - engine size 184.00 to 260.99 cid
CBCG - Classic (1928-81) Blown (self-explanatory) Gas Coupe ("stock" body, one major mod such as "non-stock supercharger" [or turbocharger])

Based on the exhaust exiting in the front, I'd say turbocharged.

Ran last year for the first time on the salt and set the class record of ~156 (two-pass average).

On today’s record back up pass everything was looking fantastic early in the run. Boost was back to 25 lbs and she was pulling like a freight train in 3 and 4th gear as soon as he shifted into 5th and the boost came up one of the intercooler pipes blew off cause of zero boost and only slowing him to get up to 5500rpm for the rest of the run, got through the 3 mile mark at only 143...but averaged with yesterday’s 176 that resets his record by a few mph up to 159. So we’re gonna get the engine sealed at the record check and go back out and see how much quicker we can go!

Well not exactly what I was hoping to do after setting the record and getting through impound...trying to adjust our oil pressure before our next pass yesterday we had a dry sump failure and hurt the pressure section of the pump. After checking the pits extensively (thanks to Scott, Les and Amber) we were unable to locate a replacement so the decision was made to attempt to repair the damaged pump. After much chiseling, filing and sanding Mark Got our pump back together and turning again. All we could do then was 🤞🤞🤞 and try pruning the pump with a drill to ensure it would build pressure! After confirming that is was making pressure with the drill we called it a day (course was shut down early due to and accident anyways) so first thing this morning we installed the pump and fired the car after several adjustments to the pressure setting and replacing our broken oil pressure gauge we have the pump set and operating somoff the the short course to see if we can throw up another record run and get our shot at running on the long course (5 miles long giving us 2 more miles to build up speed)

So tomorrow morning we will head back out to the short course and do our best to set the record above 175 and then it will be off to the long course 

Just for all our metric friends out there 188mph is 302 kilometres per hour 

Super proud of his efforts and we will leave Bonneville with a new 190.33mph record that’s a 34 mph improvement over last years 156 record we set. All in all a very successful trip! I mean come on we pushed this brick to over 193 mph this week!!!!

And next year we will be back and on the hunt for that elusive 200 mph hat and to become a part of the 200mph club!

Thanks everyone for following along! Next stop for us will be Seattle this weekend and the NHRA div 6 race...see you there and if not I’ll keep you all updated"
