    Default 85 Rear spat question

    Could someone with an original early to mid 85 Saleen snap some picture of how the rear spats are secured please.

    Yes. The made of unobtanium trim behind the rear tires on 85 Saleen. I have a shot of the body color rivet used. I don’t have pictures of where they attach in the wheel well.

    pretty sure double sided tape was used also - would be nice to confirm.

    These were one of the few 85 Saleen body kit things missing on the car. The other was the 3 piece front fascia.

    I suspect screws like the facia attaches at the wheel well.

    btw - thanks again to 1986-199 for letting me see his cars in person! Totally awesome collection.

    its screws for the glass spats, and the river.

    The spats were urethane or fiberglass.
