    Default Choke Fast Idle Lever

The black plastic lever on my choke assembly is broken.
(Normally the crack is closed up, I tied it open for the picture.)

Any suggestions on repairing it ?
Or, just leave it the way it is ? Doesn't look like anything pushes on the arm in a way that would make the crack open up.
(The linkage from the choke plate goes under the black arm, right ?)

    Thanks !

No mention of the year and engine. Something 79-85. The whole assembly was probably available separately. These days you might try a carb rebuilder.

Sorry. It's the electric choke off of the stock 4 bbl carb on an '83 GT.

3M #3601 Plastic Emblem and Trim Adhesive. For non-porous surfaces. Clear. No mix.
    Is not the weatherstrip adhesive.
Is grown up version of model car plastic cement.
Very strong. Use toothpick, pin, paperclip, to apply into crack. Work time 10-30 sec.
Used it 20 years ago to glue up a replacement backup light lens permanently.
Glued up cracked corner of plastic cowl vent grill with it.

J-B Weld is great stuff, but pretty thick to work with on tiny repairs.
    Super glue will not work.

To help backup the glue, wrap a loop or two of picture hanger wire around the plastic and twist it like a bread wrapper twist tie. Pliers will make a very tight repair.

Why not just replace it, part is cheap and fix is easy....

4 Minute JB Weld would be an easy fix. Apply it with a toothpick and keep it off the lever arm and the housing. Keep rotating it while it dries in case some runs off and makes contact with adjacent metal. Clean off any bit that runs with an X-acto knife after it dries.
