    Default New Wheels Not Fitting

I bought a set of these https://www.americanmuscle.com/silver-sc-4lug-17x8.html for my 1985 GT. The problem I'm having is that fronts are rubbing against the fender on the backside. Do I need to do something to make these fit or is my car warped?

    Theres a picture in here:

Looks like your driver front wheel is not centered in the wheel opening. Not sure if your K member is out of alignment, bad control arm bushings, frame damage, or what, but something is definitely not right.

I would recommend having a competent person or shop take a look at it and figure out what is going on. Good Luck!

Agreed, It looks like the wheel is pushed back pretty far. In the picture it appears that it might have had some driver side damage to the front wheel that pushed it back. You can see a little damage on the rear of the fender in the pic. I am guessing they attempted to bend it back and came up short. Really hard to get metal back to it's previous shape, especially if it's been like that for a long time. You might be looking at least a new A-arm or maybe even a new K-member depending how bad it is. This is definitely an area you want to make sure it is repaired right. It will effect how the car handles, braking and how your tires wear ETC.
