Hello fellow Mustang guys and gals. Not Joe is the name. Although only in the local Chinese restaurant as the little old lady greeting a buddy and I will say, “hello to Joe” and promptly waives at me saying “Hi Not Joe.”
Today’s day 1 here on the site. But I’ve been a Mustang ‘fan’ for many years. Currently finishing a new motor in an white 83 GT, pondering if I should put the correct 5.0 in my 83 Wa State Patrol SSP or use my 460 big block motor in it. I’m open to suggestions, advice, gentle scoffing, and a push here and there to do the right thing (and go big block in the SSP). And if my hands aren’t already too busy with those 2, I bought a white 83 GLX 5.0 Convertible on July 5th and have no idea what I’ll do with it. It’s rough. But most of them are these days.
1995 I had my first ‘Fox’ in the form of a ‘86 5.0 T-Bird. Oh the memories created and the hearts broken in that car.
1999 I joined the military and found myself stationed in San Diego. By mid summer 2000 I was driving a mint Silver 1993 LX 5.0 convertible. If anyone knows where that car is today I’ll buy it back. It sold in Bremerton Wa in 2004 after a divorce.
Since those years as a kid I’ve had quite a few mustangs. I might forget a few but here goes.
