Here is the driver side NOS.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1986-FOR...fc12d7&vxp=mtr

Unfortunately I was not able to find a full set. Basically that was a trim piece that was installed to help improve the looks when the T-top conversion was performed. The full roof cars did not use it as they have the full window frame.

    Good Luck!

Any idea the 'technical' name of them Trey? I guess I'll call foxresto Monday and see what they say otherwise.

Unfortunately I don't know the technical name for that piece. I know I have seen it before, but being sick and on a rig right now, I don't quite have my normal brain power so I am at a loss! Sorry! I will see if I can find something for you.

In the T-Top restoration (service) manual, i believe they refer to it as a weatherstrip retainer, which it does in fact do: it keeps the glass channel weatherstrip from pulling up, or the rubber itself getting mangled when closing the door. I am missing the drivers side on my t-top and the passenger side was broken and only had the trim part crudely glued on. my solution when i replaced the channel weatherstrip was to use weatherstrip adhesive, and some black silicone to help blend it in (on the top of the door frame). but then again, i also used modified aero mirrors, which cover more of the exposed door frame, and made it easier to conceal.

Also, although it is considered a weatherstrip retainer, i have rarely seen it go by that name. Mirror trim, door trim, accent piece, or any combination of the above will usually net you some results

I know this is an older thread but I am searching for the same thing. The passenger on is E6ZZ-6620476-A. Does anyone know what the driver side part number is or where I can get a set?

    Thanks

Most likely the driver side part number will be the same except for the last number. Even is passenger and odd is driver in the old Ford part number system.

My guess would be E6ZZ-6620475-A of course that assumes that both are E6 numbers too. Good Luck!

I actually found a set of NOS trim pieces with weatherstripping on Ebay a few months ago just by chance. I have no idea what the part numbers are since they were unboxed, but it was cool to find them. I plan on using them on my 82 RS T-top.
