I've judged this car. I will be very careful with my comments. It is a (mostly) clean car, definitely stock and unmolested. The "mostly" comment is because the underhood has the gooiest, nastiest undercoating I have ever seen. The car represents the "average car down the street" of its day. It is owned by an elderly gentleman and his wife, I would guess they are in their early 80's. I heard details of their story about the car. I will stop there.

Ha, I posted about this car last year but obscured the seller's number(since I didn't want him to get too many prank calls!) The six figure asking price has to do with who originally owned this car, and I will stop there

Wow, didn't think the guy was serious ... just thought it was a funny mistake. I've tried to upload a different pic without his phone number, but everytime I try to delete the old pic and upload a new pic, the old pics still appear in the post??? I can't even delete all of the old pics ... can an Admin help here?

The owner is serious. My husband called him when it was first up for sale. I saw the car in person when Bob judged ir.

So the car has been judged. That means it’s been in the public eye, does anyone want to post a few photos for us to admire?

OK, so who owned the car to make it worth 10+ times the normal price? When I see the asking price for old Steve McQueen vehicles, I just cringe. Yeah he was cool, but a lot of his vehicles were "beaters".

Like many similar cars, there’s is not much about it to create excitement. I have seen the add and probably the pictures as well . You won’t get $$$ it you don’t ask for it. You won’t sell it anytime soon with a price in that range. It would seem they are in no rush to sell it and advertising is basically free.

As they say on some TV shows “ what’s your I don’t want to sell it price?” That’s my take on it.
