    Default Center Cap Help

I recently acquired a set of rims that I have been hunting for and for the price they are awesome. I just need to figure out a way to get the center caps to lock into the rims as they are 20+ years old and have no lip left on the caps to grab the rims and would be gone before the end of the driveway.

Any ideas on how to get these to stay in the rims upon mounting? As finding them lost or to buy would be like hen's teeth.

    Thanks

Also I was unsure how to rotate the pictures back as they are saved correctly to my stuff.

I use clear RTV to hold mine in place. Just run some around the edge of the center cap or wheel center.

JKengineering -- Are you running it where the cap mates with the rim (locking location) or somewhere else?

I put it on the part of the cap that goes into the wheel center. The "locking tabs" on your caps.
    Hope it helps.

I agree, RTV is the best way to go.

Modern center caps have a spring clip inserted in the ID of the cap to put tension on the tabs.Options of having a spring shop fabricate them or finding existing ones that fit is another way to go.
    Good luck
