Rewiring car

Any tips on doing a full rewire. Engine harness is missing some clips and has been hacked on a bit. Interior stuff seems to work good except one fuse for lights which has a dead short I trying to find.

Been thinking of doing one of those kits from like Ron Francis. Just figure I have the interior out for resto might spend the dime to rewire. I see a lot of clips can be found at various suppliers so you guys just buy clips a few rolls of wire and go crazy?

You didnt say what exactly you are working on.
Its not that easy. All the connectors are specific and only about half of them are available new. I just replaced the underhood harness on a 85 a few months ago. If I would have been able to buy every connector I would have done so and built a brand new harness too.

Its a 82 GT. Yeah i figured I get new ones where I can and try to reuse others.

Seems a little sketchy how they power these dome lights and map lights.
