1979 orange notch from Florida ?

Picked up my 79 notch last fall and from what i was told the car is from Florida and looks to hqve been blue from the factory then painted orange at some point in its life before being painted the red that it now is. Anyone on hear in the florida area ever see or know anything ? Long shot i know but still cool to hear qbout it. The car may have also been used for drag racing at some point?
