If you take the 5.0ho in a 1984 gt350 out and put in a rebuilt engine with an 86 block, do you need to use a 28oz or 50oz flywheel? TIA

If the stock crank was resused in the rebuild, then it should still be 50oz. If the crankshaft was replaced, then they could have used 28 or 50, so you'd have to find out. Where did the rebuilt engine come from? When I have engines rebuilt, they're always paired and balanced with a flywheel and harmonic balancer. My machine shop balances the whole setup together.
Depends...when the engine was "rebuilt" what imbalance was used?
