    Default '79 Z7 new owner

Hey, I recently bought a 79 Zephyr Z7 in pretty nice original shape. 3.3L straight-six. Planning to use it mainly for cruising, but some daily driving too. I'll be doing some low-key fix-ups and this seems like the best forum for info and advice. I'm new to fox-bodies, though I had an XA Falcon back in NZ years ago with almost the same engine. Cheers!

Welcome to the site! Glad you joined to share your new purchase! Show a few more pics when you can.

Hopefully you get the car running how you want it to. I bet that will turn some heads on the coast! Good luck!

Here are a few of the new ride. None of the old Falcon I'm afraid. Had it 2003.

Reinstalled the original AM radio last week. It's hooked up to the mono speaker in front. There were still aftermarket speakers in back, so I built a small aux-in amp for those. Not much on happening on AM these days it turns out.

Nice Z7, looking at the windshield sticker, it looks like it was sold new at Totom Lincoln Mercury on SW Marine Drive in Vancover.
