Long time Mustang owner..first four eye

Hey everyone, I have owned mustangs for quite some time. Always loved the older 4 eyed foxes and finally have one-a 1983 convertible with the 232 V-6. Only 43,000 miles and the body is solid. Looking for tips to make it stop running so damn rich-thinking about just pulling all the emissions crap and capping the vacuum lines. Not too computer savvy but will get a pic up when I figure it out. Have a good day and happy wrenching!
