    Default 1985 Mustang SVO (1owner w/ 28k mi)

1985 Mustang SVO for sale. Only 28k miles. I am the original owner. All original. Never modified. New tires. I have high end aluminum radiator and dual fan for it. Also have all belts and hoses and other preventive maintenance parts for it. Interior immaculate. AC works but won't hold charge. Needs paint. Asking $8,500 (easily worth 12k+ with paint).

Just to level set - if a car needs paint that is a 8-10K dollar proposition for a nice down to bare metal and back up paint job.

It would be silly to put a $10k paint job on a $12k car...now wouldn't it. Lol. But seriously it should not need a bare metal high end paint job. Single stage no clear coat was original.

Can you describe some of the issues that lead you to say it needs a paint job? Is it just oxidized with age or are there a lot of dings, scratches etc....?
