Default Four eye finished four years ago

It was the Friday of Memorial Day weekend 2014 that I put the final parts on the car and took it back home.

Purchase date: 3/26/11 (which is easy to remember because my wedding day was 3/26/16)
Approx. date of teardown to begin restoration: 10/15/11
    Date of completion: 5/23/14

4 years after finishing her up, here she is ready for Memorial Day weekend and Summer 2018!

Looks great! This year I'm going to come as close as I ever have to having mine finished. I would love for it to be something i can just drive and enjoy. Even if everything goes perfectly this year though, I may not be able to leave it alone. It's inspiring to know someone out there has done it though!

Congrats - still looks factory fresh. How many miles have you driven it since completion?

Not really sure. Speedo/ Odo crapped out on me a few years ago. I'd say I drive it less than 500 miles/year though.

For the most part I pretty much just cruise around my town.

The link to my photobucket album for tons of pics of the restoration process is in my sig line, but it looks like Photobucket removed a bunch of them. That's unfortunate.
