    Default 2001 Mustang GT Brakes Into 86 5.0 T-Bird?

Recently picked up a beater Mustang (01 GT) with a 4.6 and 8.8 rear end. I was planning on swapping the rear end and front brakes and spindles onto the T-bird. Are these components interchangeable? If so what problems may I run into with suspension geometry? I have heard it is required to run a bump steer kit with this swap. Any and all info would be appreciated. I want to get this car stopping before I drop my motor in.

Plenty of good information here: http://www.maximummotorsports.com/te...p_spindle.aspx as well as in the suspension and brake part of the forum on this board.

The 2001 rear end housing will be physically wider than the T-Bird rearend. I don't know if that will be a problem for the T-Bird though since they ran longer axles than the (fox) Mustangs stock anyway. I'm not sure what the difference in track width is between the 2001 Mustang and your car.
