Default 1979 Pace Car, All Original Massachusetts

I have owned the car for the last 18 years, and another Mustang has taken my heart so it is time to part with this one. My Pace Car has 65,xxx miles, has been stored inside, and has the original paint. I am the third owner, but only the second titled owner. I had the clutch & carb re-built two years ago. The same time, I had a set of NOS TRX tires put on. I maybe put 300-500 miles a year on, so the tires are practically new. The brakes were re-done about 10 years ago. I have attached a few pictures to give you an idea what I have. I will leave this up for a couple of weeks before I post it on eBay. I also have a bunch of Pace Car memorabilia (Jacket, Whiskey Decanter, tray, model, match box cars) That I will include. I'm sure I've probably left something out, so feel free to ask questions. I am asking $8900, and the car is located in Royalston, MA.

Wow, I had no idea a '79 Pace Car existed so close to me. The only '79 PC I've ever seen 'in the wild' was way back in 1990 or '91. A local record store employee had one with an '84 SVO nose! Thing looked crazy and thrashed, but was a real PC. Nice to know there's another one in the area. Looks like this was originally a New England car as well (DSO 11).

Wow, I just added up the fees that eBay would charge, and between them and paypal, I'd be out around $400..I will pass those savings on to the Four Eyed Pride community.. Price drop $8499 or best reasonable offer.

Nice car. Fair price considering what cars go for today.

Have the same cup holder in same location. Works fine after mod.
Made it fit low, stable, and level by cutting down the long wedgie to about 1".
Enough so the molded cup bottoms sit down flat on console without popping up.
Is 180° position from pic. Cup bottoms rest on console.
Can use a blob of butyl to stick it down.

Even then, filled the coin tray under the brake handle many times with spilled coffee.
Use taller cups or fill 3/4. A towel placed over the tray works.
