Default Help on the 1983 glx coupe

Alright ladies and gentlemen, I have a couple questions in regards to front and rear bumpers on the 83 coupe. This may not mean anything, but i was to restore as close to possible, and just curious if any know why the differences??
While i was getting ready to replace my rear bumper i noticed the one i purchased is different than the one that was on the car? The 3 bolts that all rears i recall seeing, mine only has 2? See pic..

And next is the front bumper, i sourced a better 83 bumper cover, and again there are differences which none of my cars have? The bumper and header panel on the car have 1 mounting point, bumper i sourced and every other i recall seeing has 2?

I have seen all the items you are pointing out over the years. Unfortunately I can't confirm what years the changes were made or why. I will try and look at some of my stuff and see if I can determine anything.

I think most of these were running changes by Ford to either cut cost, assembly line issues, or improve overall fit and finish thru the years. All of the parts will interchange, just sometimes it takes more than a simple remove and replace if you know what I mean.
