Default How to remove injectors CFI

I have a 1985 XL convertible. It has the 3.8 Essex engine. I want to remove the injectors and have the serviced, but I can not figure out how to remove them. Any help would be great!!!

I thought there way just bracket on the top. A quick search says to remove the tb and there are 4 screws on the bottom to separate it.

ok. To remove the throttle body:

    1)remove fuel lines
    2)remove vacuum hose(s)
    3)disconnect throttle cable
    4) Unplug sensors
    5) remove bolts attaching TB to manifold.

    That doesn't sound too hard.

To replace, get now gasket set and repeat the process. Anything else I should do while working on this area?

Look up a member named "Walking Tall". He converted his 1986 3.8 CFI to a two barrel carb set-up. A lot involved in the process and he laid out the process very well. i am collecting parts and will do this sometime in the future. The hardest part that I noticed is the changes to the fuel system.
