ROLF!! I bet he would be willing to trade for a 45' diesel pusher. I suspect he has over estimated it's worth by a factor of 4 and it's HP by several hundred. Ha Ha.

    2 possibilities come to mind
1- english as second language, being from Canada
2- more likely to me, does not really want to sell it.

My mother strongly suggested to my father once that he did not need all of the cars he had. So, to appease her, he put the '67 Coronet he just built a 440 for up for sale. For 10k more than he thought it was worth. In a garage. With the door closed. It didn't sell, for some odd reason. While he did eventually sell the car a few years later, he did it when he was ready to. My mother actually told me the story. She is no fool, pretty much knew what was going on, and figured if it meant that much to him, he could keep it anyhow.

The stickers in the engine bay add at least 400 hp! I think I know what happened, he forgot to included the decimal in his price. It was suppose to be $229.99 which puts it much closer to it's actual value.

Oh, I was thinking it was a type too and was looking to get 2299. Just fat fingered the extra 9. That would be a more appropriate price. I'm with Chad, rough engine compartment.

No air filter = no restriction = more power. You don't just make crazy mad horsepower like that with some girly air filter on your engine.

That was the first thing I wondered about, how bad does the actual owner's grasp of the English language have to be to have this guy be selling it for him?

Secondly, I do notice he doesn't say anything about "no joyriders", so I have to say I wouldn't feel the least bit bad taking this thing for a wild ride, calling BS on his horsepower figure, and then driving away.

I had a buddy many years ago with that same mentality....bolt on a few mods, run open exhaust, so "loud as hell" = "at least 500hp" I love the size of the cowl on that hood, with what appears to be just a stock 5.0 intake requiring no additional clearance.

This ad is clearly a typo...either it has an extra 2 at the front or an extra 9 on the end.

When he lets loose of the power I would worry where the loose looking battery would end up!
