    Looks like the routing is fine. Had to break out the magnifying glass to see the hood decal. I tested the diverter and bypass valves plus the check valve for the upstream line. Bypass functions good but the diverter doesn't hold vacuum. Plus the check valve doesn't do anything- air flows both directions easily. I took my time and made sure my vacuum gauge was connected tight. I even tried to pull air through the check valve with a piece of tube and a straw- yuck. No one way valve at all. So they are on order. Hopefully this addresses the issue. Shall keep at it.

    Now I need to remove the air tube from the back of the engine. Can't loosen the old check valve. I'm guessing I'll need to remove the AC tank and line, the upper intake, and maybe the hood to get leverage? This week is rain so with only a carport, might be a while. Besides I want to check out the tube just to be safe.
