    Default Happy 18th Birthday...

Just wondering when Mike & EvlGT created this site? From what I recall, it was around Mar or April 2004. Before that, David and Kathy Bowers carried the torch for these cars...

I didn't know when this forum started but if it was in 2004 then I got in on the ground floor as I joined in 2005. I belong to multiple forums but this is the one I've been on the longest. I still check in every day.

I found it right after I bought my Mustang and over the years have learned a lot here. Plus got to shoot the breeze with a great bunch of guys and gals.

We're not fast racers, we're more what's known as half fast racers.

Pretty sure it was around before '04 (Looks at join date).

You know how the late Regis Philbin used to say "Now go with your gut?" My gut said 2002, but talked myself out of it, lol Also, what can I say, I was half-awake :P

I'm think there was a site before this one, but it's been a minute, so my memory may be fuzzy.

(I know there are a couple other sites that I'm on that switched up back around '00 and join dates/post counts were reset).

The Bowers family created 'The 1982-1993 Mustang Registry.' Back then they were the preeminent voices of Third Gen Mustangs, especially GTs. Dave (almost) purchased my 5.0 the first time I owned it. IIRC, they were from Huntsville.
