Default First car show for my 1986 ASC McLaren Roadster!!

I went to the local Mustang club meeting and they talked me into entering my car in the Spring car show. I spent MANY long late night hours cleaning the car and getting it ready. The hard part was stripping the Ziebart coating in the engine bay as well as the 30 years of grime that had never been cleaned.

    I ended up taking second!

I was the only four eyed Foxbody, but I competed against several other fox bodies, some were obviously taken apart and over-detailed. I'm actually driving my car, so I have a lot of little flaws.

    Now, I'm getting the bug..

Second place, that’s great. I can see why the car looks great,

Looks great. Always good to have the four-eyes at shows. I hope you had enjoyable conversations along the lines of "What is this?" or "I used to have a Fox Body, sure had fun with it" or "my (brother, girlfriend, cousin) had one of these, haven't seen one in years."

Show us pics of your engine bay work.

    WOW!

You have a rare 86 McLaren WITHOUT the a standard Mustang interior rather than the far more common junky McLaren unique optional seats, door panels and center console.

    I this one much better!
