Default What wiring harness is this

The bit of wiring harness was attached to the dash harness in the center of the car, right by the console wiring. I cant find anything in the capri that it goes to, and a google search for the wire colors brought up both the alternator and the stereo. Two of the wires are pink/blue. Anyway I was hoping maybe someone here can point me in the right direction.

Were any of the plugs connected or was the whole harness just "there"?

Was the plug in the middle with the pin on it attached to the car and if so where?

It wasn't, but the dash wiring harness is from a different car, the dash hull itself is from yet another. There are at least 2 connections that I cant find a mate for, aside from this entire harness and the car seems to run fine, or it did before I pulled the motor. I'm going to assume I don't need it and attempt to start the engine this weekend.

It’s the harness for the stereo and center mounted dash amplifier.

I figured it was the stereo after I got to looking at it more. It seems my car has a few electrical hookups that are not connected, but the car seems to run ok.
Crimson_Stang, the harness is yours if you want it, I tried to PM you but your box is full.
