My 86 Capri was treated to the Ziebart service which did the job over the past 32 years. Part of the service was to cover the inside of the engine bay with some kind of undercoating, so it looks pretty bad. However, I want to clean up my engine bay and was wondering if anyone had luck removing the undercoating without damaging the paint underneath?
I was thinking about using PB Blaster to try to get under it and then a plastic scraper to scrape it off.
Any advice?
