    Default 86 coupe project

I just bought an 86 notch that needs everything.
I am glad this site is here
my plan is to do the 5 lug brake swap first probably cobra but sn 95 is a possibility unless the cobra brakes are that much better

then maximum Motorsports torque arm and coil over fronts only

The engine is up in the air but probably supercharged. I used to have an 86 convertible that I had a B and M on it was a powerdyne before powerdyne bought them

interior or is mostly gone can a later model center console be modified to fit?

What year front caliper brackets will work for the swap 94-04?

any links to the most comprehensive parts list for the swap?

    thanks from a new guy

Yes, but you either need to modify the dash to fit with it, or swap to a later dash.

There aren't separate brackets, just the spindles. If you're using the Ford K-member, use the 94/95 spindles. If you're usinf an MM K-member, look at the 96-04 spindles.

Look at the sticky in the "wheels / Tires" section.

Welcome to the site. We were all that new guy at one time. I refuse to give up that status.

Thanks for info. Just found a pair of 94 spindles and brackets for 90 dollars. So the build has officially begun

    Welcome!

Hit the 5 lug conversion thread.

You said supercharger.... there is good info here on how to make a 315/35/17 fit out back without adding tubs! That should have a shot at holding the power.
