By any chance was this SVO at Motion Dynamics in Leander TX around 2002 give or take a year or two?
Jim Whelan didn’t own it but a friend of his did. Asking because it looks the same as one that I almost bought many years ago but didn’t.

Yes, that is the one. Lou Medina owned it but Jim was selling it for him.

Lou Medina! Yep! I couldn't remember his name! So you ended up with it! Funny what a small world it is and even smaller when it comes to SVO's!

I really wanted that car back then, but I wasn't able to do it due to my second daughter being born premature, hospital bills, and that goes with that!

I will say it was a good car overall as you already stated. I don't remember the roof rust, but it might not have been an issue just yet. GLWS and sorry to hijack your thread!

Lou says it’s not his old car. He sold his blue one to some kids in northern CA. The color looks too purple. His was stock color when I saw it.

Good price on a 7b. I have to stay focused on what I already have.

I just talked to Lou, guess it was not him. I sent a check to someone other than Jim.

That car was for sale in Texas 10 plus years ago with photos taken on the driveway in front of the house. He had just washed the car as you could see water spots in the photos. The guy was also selling parts and took photos of the parts all over his front lawn. Plano,Texas I think? Am I right?

Lou's last 6 digits of his 7B vin were 207xxx

He had a add for parts on his website with parts on the driveway but the blue car was in the grass out beside his shop. It had a regular 4 cy non turbo that someone put in it and did not run. He may have had more pics of it but that is the only one I remember.
