Nope. There is a plastic film over top of the tag. Just don't go all the way to the edge of the plastic film.

Ok so there is nothing on it that i can see.
You can get a new one via Marti reporting process.
As erratic50 said, I ordered one from Marti just as documentation ( mine's still on the car). Might be easier,but does cost some dollars.
