He was an honorable man. Always fair and never mean. I never met him in person but considered him a friend. I was just going through his posts and found where he started a thread about members who have gone missing. He posted this:
My awkward follow-up question is, "If DBurdy just quit posting today, how would anyone find out what happened to me?"

    I will miss him.

I am so sad about this. He was always so nice and positive. And he loved my car Rusty. I will miss him very much.

This is depressing, first learning that we lost Dan, and now Ed McLaughlin. We New Englanders knew Ed from many shows at Mustangs Unlimited and at the Fox-A-Que.

    That sucks! RIP Dan!

I remember one of his posts where he mentioned hanging out at someone's property with a bunch of car enthusiasts, and that Mark Martin was there.

Just catching up. Always sad to lose a FEP brother. May he be in a better place and smile down upon us.

Would be nice if a checkered flag pic could be added next to his avatar.

Sad to hear of his passing, as he came across as a fine human being on this forum. I'll miss his good cheer and his love for the oddball cars and colors.
