You're not wrong. I had to slot some of my holes and use the Mustang nut plate. Not too big a deal.

I assume you're talking about the holes in the floor to the rear of the engine bay, not the forward ones in the wheel wells?

Shorter thread here - http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthre...-K-Member-Swap. Not only is there the K-member mounting difference, but there's a steering rack mounting difference, too - again, see the post by MAD MIKE.

Those are both old threads, so there may be newer threads that add to the discussion.

Oops, didn't see the pics on my phone. I should mention when i did mine, I needed to ratchet strap the two sides of the k-member together and pull them in (closer to each other), otherwise the holes did not line up at all. That definitely looks like what you've got going on there. My k-member is a QA-1. Sorry, I hadn't remembered that part of it until I saw your pics just now.

What I was saying before is also true though. The holes are a different distance apart going from an early Fox to a later Fox.

    Good luck!

I've been busy today trying to get the holes to line up, I made a mistake by widen the holes outward 1/8" so I reams the holes inward about 1/4" .
