Default V8 EFI Fuel Return Line Holder White Clip - Where to Buy?

I am putting my V8 EFI fuel system back togetehr after I've swapped it to my '80 chassis. I bought a new fuel filter and it came with two new white retaining clips that snap into the connections to hold it together. I bought a 10-pack of the retaining connectors from Rock Auto, but they don't seem to fit on the return fuel line. I looked on the RA site and they don't offer anything specific for the return connection, but I think they just sell the filter connection clips.

If that's the case, any suggestions on where to buy the return line connection clip if they are different?

I just had to replace a filter on a Freestyle this weekend and had the same problem. The clips that came with the filter were not correct. I know Dorman sells replacement clips, but I just went down to NAPA and looked through their selection. They had the exact clips I needed. I think I got a pack of five for $7 and they were made in the US. Do you have an old clip to compare to?

These are in the help section or the dorman of just about any auto parts store.

On my car, there is a whiteish clip and a black on the supply and return line.

Every fuel filter to line connection I've seen, and I've seen a lot, are the push on clips you mentioned. The ones I linked you to are where the return line connects to the tank. Return line has this one, the feed line has the push on style at the tank as well as the two at the filter. There are independent removable lines from and to the tank to the filter. Perhaps you have an image?

This is what I believe I need for the connection. Just need to measure what size the fitting is before I order from NPD.

I don't believe those are what you want/need. Check out the items below from Rock Auto.

Ok, that doesn't post large enough to read.

Go to Rockauto.com Look up a 1987 Ford Mustang 5.0. Click on Fuel & Air Then click on Fuel Line Retainer. That shows both the white and black clips that are used on the fuel lines. Hope that helps.

I ordered a set of the shorter duckbill clips (the top selection in the small picture) and they don't fit well. Interesting that the two lower ones aren't listed on a 1992 model, but are on a 1987 model. The lines are from a '92. I just placed an order from RockAuto, so it figures I need something else...
