Default Longtube vs mid headers vs manifolds

Engine masters recently did some dyno pulls with hooker manifolds, mid length headers and long tube headers.

The results were precisely what most of us expect.

my conclusion is if you have a corner carver type car that is revved up most of the time and has traction problems leaving corners and are running long tubes, a mid length might be a better option.

If you have a car that is a bit overcammed and has quite a bit overlap a long tube might help make it a bit more streetable in the mid range.

Those cast iron manifolds are better than anything Ford put on their cars.
