Lots of damage but otherwise the car might be solid??

I always take note of early four eyes with blue interiors. Pics aren't high quality, but passenger seat looks like new, and the dash pad doesn't look cracked.

Looks pretty decent. Would have ran but was out of gas. Had current registration. We had a winter storm here a last week so I'm assuming that's when the damage happened. Passenger and back seats were nice. Driver had seam separation on bolster. Dash didn't have a single crack. Couple of tiny rust holes on hood corners. Looked like and old lady car.
Trying to decide to not or not. Looks like a bunch of good parts.
How rare are the blue interiors?

Blue interiors are not common, which is both good and bad.

I don't remember seeing blue interior with black dash. ???

Interesting that the glove box handle is also wood trim, is that factory? Never seen it before.

Now thats the first 80 model I've seen with the door handle down low like the 79. I guess they could be 79 replacement doors, but I doubt it.

Judging by the amount of warpage, that dash pad looks like an early repro.

Early 1980 production cars had the low door handle just like the 79 model.

I thought I had seen a 1980 model a while ago with the lower inner door handle but couldn't find any pics. Somebody on fb told me flat out it didn't happen....that was 1979 only.

Not sure the bidding went past 300 so I gave up. Now when I go back to look it just says sold.

I knew some carried over into the early 80 production run, but how many is the question I guess. This and the flat 79 coupe deck lid are very rare to see.
