    Default 1981 Junkyard coupe

Decided to venture out on half price weekend after seeing the picture on Row52.

Nice little car at one time and still quite original. It was in overall nice shape other than the rusting panels and some sun fade on the passenger and back interior. I wonder why you never see these go though on Kijiji or anything

I grabbed the front cover and assembly for a spare, the nice tail lights and a bunch of the chrome. It even had a Motorcraft positive cable I've been looking for. Hopefully it cleans up good and is usable.

Did I mention it was almost -20°C out?

Thanks for the tags. This one adds another vinyl roof code ("V RED") from San Jose Assembly Plant that I hadn't seen yet. Now I know about Chamois, Red, and White codes.

Tough to tell if they were still attached but the c-pillar hockey stick shaped trim is hard to come by.

    Jon,

I did grab those and was inches away from having the Carlite windshield out of it before it cracked

I looked that car over last month, took a couple of the headliner trim pieces was all. I debated going back for the rear interior panels, but ended up using a set from an aero car. Better to hack those up for what I needed of them.

You must have a pretty good stash of taillights now Darran. I still have a half decent spare set, so didn't pull those ones but they did look to be in good shape.
