With that kind of damage, I would put a "$700 at best" offer on it.
For real. There is an 86 Capri with a gt front on it for $1200 obo local to me with under 100k.

Yeah, but they're "rust free, with original paint"

It's sad to see cars like this. Involved in a wreck, then stashed away. It's one thing to have to repair the crash damage, but sitting for 20 years sets up a whole laundry list of potential other problems. At least it has been inside, if it would have been outside it would probably be un-salvageable. In its day it was a cool car.
I often wonder what finally convinces the owner to do "something" about some long-stored car..... a death, lost storage, financial issues, wife puts her foot down....

So much want. Perfect complement to my other 85.
I've thrown batteries in cars left in a field for 10 years, driven them out and beat on them for 5 years.

I think it is fixable for sure. you have to want the car and put the money into it. picture's don't do the true damage justice. I have seen worse fixed. the prices people are asking for 5.0 coupes it might be worth it.
Yup, and a low production color im sure.... it just might be worth it
