    Default wash day

Before I start all the welding, I moved it outside to give it a pressure wash. tried to remove 30yrs of grime. Also did the 5 lug conversion on the rear with all new brake parts and I found a surprise, so when I removed the rear cover I found it has a yukon carrier and a set of Richmond 4.10 gearsName: thumbnail (3).jpg

Man you CA guys! The lack of rust on that car just astounds us rust belt guys. Around here a 5 year old car wouldn't look that good.

With a portapower and stud gun you would be amazed at what you can do in terms of dent removal. just heat the metal before making big pulls and be patient.

I bought a stud gun from Harbor Freight and pulled out all the dents, now working on the front cover fixing all the scrapes, rips and holes. Also installed my new fender extensions on both sides that I got from Johns Cougar.... great fits and well made
